Letting My Hair Grow

Several weeks ago, I was flipping through an Eddie Bauer catalog and noticed a long hair style that I liked.  It's been quite a while since I've worn my hair long, and I decided that now is a good time to grow it out.  For the past two weeks, my hair has looked awful.  My short hair style had lots of layering, and the lower layers have not been cooperating as they have been getting longer.  Yesterday, I finally had a decent hair day, so I'm hoping that the worst is behind me.  I think it will take at least a year for my hair to reach the desired length.  We'll see if I make it that long before missing short hair.
