Hotel Pillows

What's up with hotel pillows?  During the past four months, Jay, Henley, and I have stayed overnight at three different hotels (one Hampton Inn and two Hilton hotels).  At each hotel, the pillows have been extremely soft and completely collapse when pressure of any sort is applied.  They offer practically no support and are pretty much useless.  Because I use a very firm pillow at home, I find it difficult to obtain much sleep on the flimsy hotel pillows.  Fortunately, I remembered to take a pillow with me on our trip to the beach.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take one to Kentucky this past weekend for a quick trip that was planned at the last minute to pay our respects to a family friend whose sister had passed away.  Now, I understand that most people do not want a pillow that provides as much support as my pillow provides; however, it seems like some compromise is needed.  A couple of years ago, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and were given a few options for pillow type.  Couldn't Hampton Inn and Hilton provide the same service?  I will say that I'm at least happy to see that the pillows are not feather pillows.  I seem to recall having issues with this at several hotels years ago.
